Groups pair wine to charities for benefit

Two local groups are teaming up to help charity.

The Lemon Drop Club, a social group helping to support local charities, and Hope Wine, a company producing, bottling and pairing varietals with specific charities, will host a fundraiser from 7 p.m. to midnight Oct. 26 at the Ritz Restaurant, 880 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach.

Hope Wine donates half of its profits to charities that help battle breast cancer, autism and AIDS.

Admission to the fundraiser is $20 for men, $10 for women and includes a buffet dinner and a disc jockey who plays top 40 music. For more information, contact Steve Hearne at (949) 378-6600 or [email protected].
