Women’s expo focuses on salon, spa services, clubs

The Orange County Fair & Exposition Center will host the Head to Toe Women’s Expo on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. More than 250 exhibits will cover aspects of modern womanhood, ranging from finances and careers to fashion and home decor. Two stages at the event will showcase the latest trends in hair and fashion, cooking demonstrations and a host of speakers.

The expo’s “Body & Soul City,” will exhibit the latest in salon and spa services, skin care, make-up, health management, and women’s literature. The “Glitter Sector” will include displays of fine and costume jewelry and an exhibition of arts and gifts, and the “Philanthropic Promenade,” will include many local women’s clubs and organizations. Chef Marcela from “Martha Stewart’s Apprentice” will present a cooking demonstration Saturday. Aiden Turner of ABC soap “All My Children” will be a featured speaker Sunday. The event runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are available at the door for $8, and admission for children under 12 is free.
