NEWBORN KITTENS

Community Animal Network will be outside Russo’s pet store in Fashion Island on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. with newborn kittens looking for a home.

Volunteers are also needed to help bottle-feed five litters of kittens already at the shelter. If you are interested in volunteering, call (949) 697-6632.

Enter the “kitten naming” contest by choosing five kitten names and mailing your entry with a $5 donation to Community Animal Network, P.O. Box 8662, Newport Beach, CA 92658. Memo checks “feed the kitties” and note the shelter’s tax ID number, 33-0971560, on it. Winning kitten names will be posted on https://www.animalnetwork.org on Oct. 31.
