AMEND ALCOHOL PERMIT
Operators of a Conoco Phillips gas station and convenience store at 3067 Bristol St. will ask the commission to amend a permit to allow it to sell single containers of beer and wine, as well as allow advertisement of alcohol outside the business.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The commission will either deny the application to amend the permit or approve the applicant’s request. City staff is recommending the commission deny the applicant’s request to sell single servings of beer and wine. City staff thinks amending the permit would be detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of the public and nearby area. They cite that single servings often tend to be purchased for immediate consumption and could lead to illegal activities or disturbances.
