Longtime security firm moves offices
First Security Lending, which for seven years was at 2210 W. Olive
Ave., has moved its corporate offices to 1700 W. Burbank Blvd.
Burbank natives Justin Aldi and Ronnie da Motta founded the firm,
which has a total of seven offices throughout the South California.
The company moved 130 employees to 16,000 square feet of office space
along Burbank Boulevard, a building twice as large as its former
Olive digs.
The move will allow First Security Lending to double the number of
its loan officers and administrative support, spokeswoman Jennifer
Brazgel said.
Film company expands to digitizing movies
Burbank-based Pro8mm, a professional motion picture company known
for digitally mastering films for Hollywood celebrities, presidents,
well-known athletes and other industry leaders, is now expanding the
service for the public.
Pro8mm President Phillip Vigeant hopes the service will educate
the public about the preservation of home movies shot on film between
1935 and 1985, according to a news release. It is a waste that the
history and legacies of families are stored in boxes on rolls of
film, never to be seen or appreciated, Vigeant said.
Pro8mm services include replacing bad splices, adding high-quality
leader, digitally scanning with the same equipment used in major
motion pictures and color timing each frame, scene by scene, color
and exposure.
Pro8mm’s DVD packages start at $295 with five copies to share. For
more information, log on to www.pro8mm.com or call (818) 848-5522.
