All-Star game Friday

Three recently graduated seniors from Edison High will be part of the

South roster Friday in the 2005 Orange County All-Star football game.

The three locals are on the 36-player list chosen by Orange County

sportswriters to play against the top players from the North in the

annual charity game put on by the Brea Lions Club.

The 46th edition of the contest will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Friday

at Orange Coast College.

Adam Goodman (6-feet-2-, 240 pounds) of Edison is the lone tight

end on the South, and the only Chargers player listed on offense.

Two Chargers will play on the defensive side of the ball --

lineman Logan Galitski (5-feet-10, 195 pounds) and linebacker Josh

Gage (6-feet-2, 205 pounds).

All three were All-Sunset League selections in 2004.

The three also are the lone Huntington Beach players named to the

South squad, and among nine athletes from the Sunset League competing

in the game.

The other six Sunset League players, representing Los Alamitos and

Esperanza, will play for the North.
