Vivian E. Worley

A memorial service for former Newport Beach resident Vivian E.

Worley is at 2:15 p.m. Thursday at Pacific View Memorial Park in

Corona del Mar.

Born in Tennessee, Ms. Worley lived in Newport Beach for 20 years,

where she was a homemaker. Ms. Worley died June 20 of congestive

heart failure. She was 79.

Ms. Worley is survived by her brothers, Edward, Lawrence and

Howard Bowers; her daughters, Teresa Strombotne, Linda Souza and

Diane Worley; and five grandchildren.

Charles ‘Chuck’ C. Waite, Jr.

Former Newport Beach resident Chuck Waite died June 19 of a heart

attack. He was 55. No services are planned.

Born in Hollywood, Mr. Waite lived for 40 years in Newport Beach,

where he was owner of a masonry company.

Mr. Waite is survived by his son, Charlie Waite III, and his

mother, Betty Taylor.
