Eight of the Estancia High softball team’s 18 hits went for extra
bases as the Eagles earned a 17-4 nonleague triumph over visiting
University Monday.
Taylor West was 3 for 4 with four RBIS, Hilary Ockey was 3 for 4
with one RBI, Heather Morton was 2 for 3 with two RBIs, Taylor Brown
was 2 for 4 with two RBIs, Allison Wyman was 1 for 4 with three RBIs,
Muriel Mason was 2 for 2 with four runs and one RBI and Lina You was
2 for 3 with one RBI for the Eagles (6-3).
Nicole Amaya was 1 for 1 with an RBI for Estancia.

Tars’ miscues costly
* BASEBALL: Host Woodbridge High took advantage of six Newport
Harbor errors to post a 6-4 Sea View League baseball victory Monday.
“I don’t think any of their runs were earned,” Sailors Coach Joel
Desguin said.
Taylor Young was 1 for 4 with two RBIs and Patrick Keehan was 2
for 4 for the Sailors.
