Ya-Lei Yang of Temple City and Andy Betz of Newport Beach
exchanged vows at the Catalina Room in Rancho Palos Verdes on Oct.
15, 2004.
The bride is the daughter of Andy and Charlene Yang of Temple
City. The maid of honor was Kelly Simpson of Newport Beach. The
bridesmaids were Anita Yang of Los Angeles, Melissa Gutierrez of San
Francisco, Amy Hudson of Temple City and Nicole DeGraaf of Arcadia.
The bridegroom is the son of Les Betz and the late Linda Betz of
Newport Beach. The best men were Jason Fairchild of Costa Mesa and
John Jones of Newport Beach. The ushers were Chris Seib of Newport
Beach, Chris Guenther of Burlingame and Matt Lee of Manhattan Beach.
The reception was held at the Catalina Room. The couple lives in
Pasadena.
The bride is a graduate of Temple City High School, UC San Diego
and the USC Annenberg School of Communication. She is employed as a
pharmaceutical sales representative for Pfizer, Inc. The groom is a
graduate of Newport Harbor High School and UC San Diego. He is a
student at the USC Marshall School of Business.
Hall-Buckles
Kelly Hall of San Clemente wed Christopher Alan Buckles of Costa
Mesa on the dock of the Luna Beach Resort in Roatan, Honduras on
Sept. 6, 2004.
The bride is the daughter of Wilson and Mary Gail Hall of San
Clemente. She wore a gown with a fitted bodice, spaghetti straps with
seed pearls and a flared ankle-length skirt. The matron of honor was
Robin Lee Weiss, the bride’s sister. Joyce James joined her as maid
of honor.
The bridegroom is the son of Danny Stewart of La Crescenta and
Cindy Buckles of San Luis Obispo. The best man was Bill Lewis, the
bridegroom’s grandfather.
Twenty-two family members and friends traveled to Roatan for the
wedding. The reception was held Oct. 4 at the Hall’s San Clemente
home.
The couple plans to live in Costa Mesa.
