CdM rallies past Timberwolves

The Corona del Mar High girls volleyball team defeated Northwood,

18-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-14, in a Pacific Coast League match Thursday

at CdM.

Seniors Jordan Smith and Lindsey Ensign led the Sea Kings with 13

kills each, while senior Traci Lawson added 19 assists and 18 digs.

Sophomore Kelly Christian had 14 assists and 12 digs.

Corona del Mar (16-4, 4-0 in league) normally runs a fast-paced

offense, but fell victim to Northwood’s (14-5, 1-3) slow tempo in the

first game.

But the Sea Kings rallied and upped the tempo in the final three

games to run away with the match.
