Suspected drug dealers arrested
Costa Mesa Police arrested two men Wednesday night on suspicion of
selling drugs from their Victoria Street home.
An undercover officer arrested 56-year-old Timothy Sweetland and
26-year-old Juan Galindo just after 9 p.m. Wednesday when they
allegedly tried to sell methamphetamines, Costa Mesa Police Sgt.
Marty Carver said.
Officers found more methamphetamines, cocaine and other narcotics
in the home in the 200 block of Victoria Street, he said.
The drugs, which Carver described as “low-grade,” had an estimated
street value of about $800.
Sweetland and Galindo are being held without bail because they
also had arrest warrants.
