Angels outlast Indians

Blake Skorich’s RBI single capped a four-run rally in the bottom of
the eighth inning that lifted the Angels past the Indians, 10-9, for
an extra-innings victory in an Ocean View Little League game.
Skorich also doubled in a run in the bottom of the sixth to tie
the game at 6-6.
Jacob Pascoe, Ben Albert, Jovanni Solis and Thomas Gross each had
two hits for the Angels.
The hitting of Matt O’Connor and pitching of Kevin Stoops paced
the Indians.

Minor B Division
Reds 5, A’s 3
David Feirstein, William Morehand, Tyler Hammock and Conner
Cassotta each had key hits for the A’s, who played well in their
season-opening game despite suffering the loss.
Dee Atwood pitched the first three innings for the A’s, before
being replaced by Feirstein.
At Seaview Little League:
Minor A Division
Cubs 17, Marlins 4
Matt Thiede’s solid performance included a triple, three RBIs and
the pitching win for the Cubs.
Brooke Thomas doubled among three hits and Riley Mailman and
Clinton Timmerman each doubled for the Cubs.
Jack Koeller struck out seven in relief of Thiede.
Brennan Fitzmartin singled three times, J.D. Keef had two hits and
Connor Geck doubled to lead the Marlins.
Dodgers 9, A’s 5
Troy Baljeu had three hits, Mitchell Grant had two hits, Danny
Oates doubled and Lane Hepburn struck out four in getting the
pitching win for the Dodgers.
Corino Spitaleri singled twice and Beau Mitchell struck out six
for the A’s.
Angels 14, Royals 12
The two teams combined for 22 hits as the Halos outlasted the
Royals.
Nick Niemiec had three hits, Bryan Flory and Max Mayer each
singled twice and Scott Campbell doubled and singled for the Angels.
Colby Griffith tripled and Tanner Smith doubled for the Royals.
