Ashley Kirtland Starnes of San Marino and Jonathan Michael Pharris
of Newport Beach exchanged vows at the Lighthouse Courtyard of the
Hyatt Regency Hotel on Aug. 31.
The bride is the daughter of Janet Starnes of San Marino and
Vaughn Starnes of La Canada-Flintridge.
The bride wore a Badgley-Mischka’s Christa, a white silk and satin
strapless gown with beaded detail at bodice and draped waist and
train with a cathedral veil.
The maid of honor was Margaret Starnes. The bridesmaids were
Shelley Davis, Jenny Kanelos, Kristin Nunnelly, Kristen Ott, Jennifer
Parsons and Catherine Pharris.
The bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Lynn Pharris of Newport
Beach. The best man was Brain Pharris. The ushers were Oscar
Constandse, Johnathan Crocker, Chas Leeper, Jeff Leeper, Marshall
Roslyn and Andrew Starnes.
The reception was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel with 280 guests.
The couple spent the honeymoon in Hawaii. They plan to live in
Irvine.
The bride is completing work for her teaching credential at
Concordia University. The groom works at Lee and Associates in
Newport Beach.
Kolbert-Lindner
Lisa Kolbert of Newport Beach and Alfred Lindner of New Smyrna
Beach, Fla. exchanged vows on the Wild Goose in Newport Beach on
Sept. 6.
The bride is the daughter of Gary Kolbert of Newport Beach and
Valarie Gabel of Aliso Viejo.
The bride wore a strapless satin ivory gown with applique around
the bodice and the hem line with satin covered buttons from the top
of the back to bottom of the train.
The matron of honor was Kelly Wildman. The bridesmaids were Brandi
Pulver, Michelle Bojcun and Catherine Croy.
The bridegroom is the son of Fred and Nettie Lindner of Delano.
The best man was Steven Vlahos. The ushers were Tony Linder, Frank
Linder and Marlan Walker.
The reception was held on the Wild Goose in Newport Harbor with
150 guests. The couple spent the honeymoon in Ko Olina, Hawaii.
The groom works at Marriott as a director of sales.
