TUESDAY * Via California: Narcotics detectives arrested...

TUESDAY

* Via California: Narcotics detectives arrested a man in

Capistrano Beach on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine with the

intent to sell at 6:09 p.m. Police arrived with a search warrant,

knocked on the door in the 26100 block and arrested a man who tried

to escape out the back door.

MONDAY

* Glenneyre Street: A resident reported that her daughter had just

broken up with her boyfriend and feared he might come back to their

home in the 900 block and do something rash at 11:20 p.m. She told

police the Westminster resident said, “You’ll be sorry. I’ll be

back.”

* Third Avenue and South Coast Highway: Police arrested a

39-year-old Laguna Beach resident on suspicion of drunken driving and

on an outstanding warrant for drunken driving after she was in a

minor traffic accident at 5:34 p.m.

* North Coast Highway: A 20-year-old striker at Pavilions and a

78-year-old patron made citizen’s arrests of each other after a

verbal altercation and shoving match at 5:43 p.m. Police made no

arrests.

* Laguna Canyon Road: Someone reportedly stole $2,000 worth of

tools from a construction shed near the San Joaquin Hills Toll Road

over the weekend.

SUNDAY

* Poplar Drive: A father and son were reportedly throwing things

at each other in the 400 block at 1:08 p.m.

* South Coast Highway: Two men reported that they’d been attacked

by a man with a two-foot chain on Oct. 4 outside Ocean Brewing

Company. One said he suffered a one-inch gash on his head after being

struck with the chain, and both said they waited to report the

incident because they didn’t want to get in trouble.

SATURDAY

* Glenneyre Street: An unoccupied blue BMW rolled into an

unoccupied house in the 600 block at 2:08 p.m. The Auto Club towed

the car and police left a note on the house at 3:28 p.m.

* Laguna Canyon Road: A man was seen burning trash near some koi

ponds in the 20300 block at 9:11 a.m.

* Miramar Street: Police held a man at gunpoint and arrested him

on suspicion of being drunk in public after responding to a call of a

burglary in progress in the 1000 block at 2:48 a.m. The 23-year-old

Fullerton resident told police he had been abandoned by some friends

and said he thought he was still in Fullerton. When repeatedly asked

by police how much he’d had to drink, the suspect answered only,

“Malibu rum,” Sgt. Jason Kravetz said.

* Canyon Acres Drive: A man reported that he believed someone had

slipped something in his drink at a Halloween party in the 400 block

at 11:55 p.m.

* Oak Street: Police received a call that four men were throwing

eggs at people in the 500 block at 9:33 p.m.

* Hillside Drive: A resident reported that a man wearing no shirt

and bending over by some palm trees was acting strangely in the 400

block at 2:49 p.m. Police determined at 3:10 p.m. that it was the

owner of the residence.

* Alta Laguna Park: A stone-engraved sign valued at $1,500 was

reported stolen at 2:18 p.m.
