A tour we can live with

We shouldn’t admit this. We especially shouldn’t be using the

editorial “we” to admit it (which comes, by the way, with a fedora as

opposed to the royal we’s crown).

But we love the high school’s home tours. Heck, we don’t even mind

the funny booties.

Last week’s 30th annual Corona del Mar High School and Middle

School PTA Home Tour showcased six smashing homes. You know, the

kinds with grand staircases, multiple patios and breath-taking views.

And we’re not alone. About 2,000 people traipsed through the

sextet of homes, oohing and ahhing and maybe getting a few design

tips.

It helps that the tours are for good causes -- educating our kids.

They’ll certainly need some know-how if they want to move into

these homes.
