Mr. and Mrs. Galfred Gfroerer of Menlo Park announce the

engagement of their daughter Nicole Gfroerer of Menlo Park to Kyle

Kofford of Newport Beach. The bride-elect graduated from St. Francis

High School and the University of the Pacific in Stockton. The future

bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Kofford of Newport Beach,

graduated from Newport Harbor High School and the University of the

Pacific Stockton. A December wedding is planned at Sts. Peter and

Paul Church in San Francisco.

Steve and Amy Sveinson of Costa Mesa announce the engagement of

their daughter Jessica Waltz of Costa Mesa to John Bird of Costa

Mesa. The bride elect graduated from Estancia High School, Gonzaga

University and the University of San Diego. The future bridegroom,

son of Craig Bird and Stephanie Cleary of Carlsbad, graduated from

Carlsbad High School and Cal State Long Beach. A June 26, 2004,

wedding is planned at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside.
