Bergeron nets three goals in No Names romp

Eric Bergeron netted three consecutive goals to lead the No Names to

a 6-1 victory over Team 352 in AYSO Region 117 boys’ under-12

Division action.

Bergeron scored his hat trick in the second period, after Jared

Mossembekker scored off a Brandon Messer assist and Messer went

scored unassisted in the first period.

Justin Rodriguez completed the No Names’ scoring with a third

period goal.

Andrew Lindsey, David Hopkins, Jeff Wold and Sam Farnsworth

anchored the mid-field and Read Hersh, James Hensley and Riley

Miller, roamed the backfield and, combined with the goal tending of

Eddie Rodriguez and Matt McCoy, held their opponent to only one goal.

Ripcurl wins three

Ripcurl started its season with a 3-1 win over the H.B. Strikers,

then posted a 6-0 shutout of the Red Hotties and a 1-0 shutout of

Goal-d Rush.

Goals in the two matches were scored by Devon Shinn, Rachel Osman,

Kaycee Rogers, Taylor De Grote, Geena Martinez and Cassandra Davis.

Against Goal-d Rush, Kaycee Rogers scored off a Taylor DeGrote

assist in the final period to lift Ripcurl.
