The Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce has selected Back Bay Fitness
experts and co-founders Katherine Coltrin and Lisa McGhee to speak on
the importance of implementing corporate fitness programs in the

Scheduling and Keeping an Exercise/Fitness/Wellness Regimen for the

The Lido Yacht Expo, California’s all-big-boat show, will be held
from noon to 7 p.m. at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach. The boat
show offers the largest display of American and international motor

The Newport Hills Garden Club will meet to the first time this

The 15th Taste of Newport, featuring food samplings from more than

Free train rides at the Goat Hill Junction train station will be
given from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is being put on by the Model
Engineers of Orange County and the Costa Mesa Lions Club. Hamburgers,
hot dogs and soda will be sold. The train station is across from the
Estancia High School tennis court, at Fairview Park on Placentia
Avenue and Swan Drive in Costa Mesa.
Mother’s Market will celebrate its 25th anniversary from 11 a.m.
to 3 p.m. Specials and free samples will be available while they

“Celebrating the Past ... and Rebuilding for the Future” is a
two-day fund-raiser to benefit education, interpretation and
restoration efforts at the Crystal Cove State Park Historic District.
The events, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sept. 20 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sept. 21, will celebrate four years of preservation efforts and the
beginning of restoration scheduled for October under the park’s
