Patrons get rolling on fund-raising

“Cruising Into Fall” is this year’s theme for Golden West

College’s 11th annual Patrons Fashion Show and Fund-raiser, featuring

a silent auction and luncheon.

The fashion show and fund-raiser will be held on Oct. 4 at the new

Clubhouse at Mile Square Golf Course, 10401 Warner Ave. in Fountain

Valley.

The silent auction is at 10:30 a.m., followed by the fashion show

and luncheon at 11:30 a.m.

Tables, which seat up to 10, cost $400 and lunch is $40 a plate. A

portion of the cost is tax-deductible and proceeds will benefit

deserving students.

The Golden West College Patrons, established in 1973, provides

volunteer services for various campus events to raise much-needed

scholarship funds for Golden West College students.
