experienced the death of a child that meets on the first Thursday of

Pete’s authentic “Dance for

the Waves” Luau includes a lei and shell greeting, Polynesian

buffet open bar, official tiki torch lighting ceremony, hula lessons,

Local Chef’s Night will present award-winning Chef Jeff

Littlefield of the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort, who will prepare a

four-course meal using items sold at Trader Joe’s. Served on the

patio in front of Java City at Five Points Plaza at 18685 Main St.,

participants receive the full dinner afterward and can bid on gifts

available in a silent auction. Trader Joe’s Presents 2003 Chef’s

Series proceeds will benefit Orange County Coastkeeper. Sign in

begins at 5:30 p.m. for 6 p.m. presentation. Cost is $30 per person.
