Thunder rolls, 11-1

The Thunder scored a mercy rule victory in Howe Division play by

rolling past the Avalanche, 11-1, at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey

Center in Huntington Beach.

Austin Heinz’s five goals led an onslaught that saw Jacob Folsom

score three goals and get an assist, Conner Richard score twice and

Matt Korn score once and assist three other goals.

Jacob Gonzales had two goals and Kevin Hetrick finished with 13

saves.

The Avalanche scoring consisted of a goal by Andrew Wade off an

Eric Jones assist.

In other Howe games:

Sharks 13, Blue Thunder 3

The Sharks outscored the Blue Thunder, 8-0, in the second period,

to take control of the match.

Duke Rogers posted four goals to lead the Sharks attack.

Kyle MacLeod scored three goals and added an assist, Kyle Morrill

and Zach Dickson each scored twice and Zachary Beko and Timothy

Francis each scored once.

Zachery Jones led the Sharks in assists with five, Beko had three

and Dickson, Rogers and Andrew Eggert each had one.

Dennis Grijalva had seven saves.

Nemesis 5, Red Wings 1

Cole Thormodsgaard scored two goals and Zackery Porter had 10

saves to lead Nemesis.

Other Nemesis goals were scored by Joey Villella, Richard Rodeback

and Zachary Peterson.

Ryan Del Mauro led the team with two assists and Ryan Kalama and

Zac Zomaya each had one assist.

For the Red Wings, Zach Gillespie scored off a Matthew Janssen

assist.

Matt Bodziak recorded 25 saves.
