Costa Mesa auditor eyeing Ernst & Young offices
Costa Mesa auditor Resources Connection Inc. has entered final

Resources Connection expects to complete the purchase of Ernst &
Young’s six Netherlands offices by June 30 for an undisclosed sum,
Chief Executive Donald Murray said.
“With the opportunity to acquire [the division], Resources
Connection hopes to continue building an independent international
alternative for professional level services that the big audit firms
may be restricted to provide,” Murray said.
Resources Connection, founded in 1996 by a breakaway group from
Deloitte & Touche, is a professional services firm that provides
auditing, accounting, finance, human resources, information
technology and other services.
