‘RUSSIAN BEAUTY’
The Pacific Symphony will play a program of Russian works today at
the Orange County Performing Arts Center. The divertimento from
Stravinsky’s “The Fairy Kiss,” written on the 35th anniversary of
Tchaikovsky’s death, and Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 1 precede
Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake” ballet suite. Tickets cost from $19 to $59.

MARC-ANDRE HAMELIN
Canadian pianist and composer Marc-Andre Hamelin will perform at
7:30 p.m. today in Founders Hall. Herbert Glass will give a preview

Pop legend Neil Sedaka joins the Pacific Symphony ops in concert

PARISSA AND THE DASTAN ENSEMBLE
The Philharmonic Society of Orange County is presenting the

The Orange Coast College’s Symphony will close its 42nd season at

SOPRANO ISABEL BAYRAKDARIAN
Soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian will debut in the Orange County

in Founder’s Hall. She won first prize in the prestigious Placido
Domingo 2000 Operalia competition. Tickets are $60 and are available
