Spicy is a 4-year-old black and gray Lhasa poo dog whose owners

are too busy to play.

“Her current family is saddened that they have to work so much and

that Spicy is so craving of their affection,” said DiAnna

Pfaff-Martin, founder of the Newport Beach-based Community Animal

Network.

Spicy needs new parents who work from home or have more time, she

said.

“Her favorite things are stuffed animals and sleeping with her

loved ones,” Pfaff-Martin said. “She is happy to just tag along most

anywhere and loves riding in the car.”

The network offers a 30-day health guarantee and provides food and

supplies for caregivers.

Rescued shelter kittens recently cost the network $1,500,

Pfaff-Martin said. The network needs donations to support such high

costs, she said.
