Anteater players singled out

Four players from the UC Irvine men’s tennis team have earned All-Big
West Conference honors, while the women’s team was represented by
three with all-conference laurels.
Junior Jonathan Endrikat and junior Zoran Korac received
first-team All-Big West recognition in singles. Sophomore Brian
Morton, a Corona del Mar High product who grew up playing at Mesa
Verde Tennis Club under the tutelage of his father, Glenn, was
All-Big West honorable mention in singles.
Endrikat and Morton teamed up as the Anteaters’ top doubles pair
and earned first-team All-Big West in doubles. Junior Sean O’Connor
and Korac were named All-Big West honorable mention in doubles.
For the women, junior Tiffany Chang was named first-team All-Big
West, while sophomore Anna Bentzer and junior Jenny Bowman were both
named second-team all-conference. Chang and Bowman teamed up as the
Anteater’s top doubles team and were named first-team All-Big West in
doubles.
