Project Senior Home
Inspection Program is a program between the Huntington Beach Fire
Department and Community Services Outreach. Volunteers will be
trained by fire personnel to inspect homes for safety hazards, how to
prevent fires, preparation for earthquakes and smoke detector

Seniors Outreach Center serves the frail and homebound elderly.
Volunteers will be trained to operate a city vehicle to provide
transportation for senior citizens. Five hours per week is required.

The Shipley Nature Center is seeking volunteers to help with the
center. The center includes a small natural history museum and nature
trails that offer environmental education for schools, community

The Therapeutic Riding
Center of Huntington Beach needs volunteers to assist disabled
students learning to ride horses. Service is needed Mondays,
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2 to 5 p.m. Lessons are held

TLC of Huntington Beach is a lunch program for senior citizens.
