* Beach Street: Three women visiting from France said their rented
Dodge Caravan was keyed in daylight hours while they walked around
Downtown.
* Legion Street: A reportedly intoxicated male was asked to leave
the area after screaming in the street that he should be allowed to
enter the Hare Krishna temple at 4:51 a.m.
MONDAY
* South Coast Highway: Police received a call at 4:08 a.m. from a
man saying water was pouring down the street into his house. Public
works responded at 5:32 a.m. with 50 sandbags.
SUNDAY
* Alta Laguna Park: Unknown suspects spray-painted two trash cans
at Alta Laguna Park. It was the second graffiti report there in the
last two weeks.
SATURDAY
* Forest Avenue: Police discovered that a San Juan Capistrano
resident whose purse had been brought in as a found item had $30,000
in warrants for driving with a suspended license and writing bad
checks. When she came in to claim the purse, they arrested her.
