LAGUNA BEACH CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL
Today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. the Hotel Laguna will host a special
gala for the music festival at Claes Restaurant with a three-course
gourmet dinner to benefit the Festival. Cost is $75 per person. The
hotel is at 425 S. Coast Highway. Following at 8 p.m. is a concert at
Laguna Beach High School’s Artists’ Theatre at 625 Park Ave.
Performances will be by the Calder Quartet performing Franz Josef
Haydn: String Quartet in G minor, Op. 74, No. 3, “The Rider,” Claude
Frank performing Franz Schubert: Piano Sonata in B-flat major, D. 960
and Trio Movado performing Johannes Brahms: Piano Trio in B major,
Op. 8 Tickets are $20 for adults, $45 for all three concerts with
reserved seating and $10 for students. Information: 553-2422.
DRUMMING CIRCLE AT THE SANCTUARY
The Sanctuary in Laguna Beach will have a drumming and percussion
circle in honor of the full moon. The Sanctuary opens at 6:30 for
prior meditation and drumming is from 7 to 8 p.m. For directions or

FESTIVAL OF ARTS CERAMICISTS SHOW AT WELLS FARGO
An exhibit focusing on the art of ceramics by Festival of Arts
exhibitors is being presented at the Wells Fargo on Ocean Avenue. The
exhibit will run through May 5 and is part of an ongoing series of
shows that the Festival of Arts is having at Wells Fargo this year.
FAMILY SING ALONG
Every fourth Friday of the month from 6 to 9 p.m. No Square
Theatre will have a family sing along with the renowned Terry Alaric
on piano. Participants can bring their own sheet music or choose from
what is provided. No Square Theatre is at 221 Broadway.
