Donald L. Peters

A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Joachim

Catholic Church for Donald L. Peters, a 37-year resident of Newport

Beach. Mr. Peters died on Wednesday of cancer. He was 77. He is

survived by wife Katherine Peters; sons Faye Patrick, George John,

Peter Michael, Paul Richard, Theodore James and Patrick Arthur

Peters; daughters Donna Lou Barnes, Paula Jean French and Mary

Katherine Orton; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The

church is at 1964 Orange Ave., Costa Mesa.
