* Adams Avenue: A man was reported to have been drunk in public in
the 9000 block at 7:34 a.m. Friday.
* Aldrich Street and Beach Boulevard: A city ordinance violation
was reported, stating that employees at a carwash had the PA system
too loud at 10:21 a.m. Friday.
* Alexandria Drive and Baylor Court: A suspicious person was
reported by a neighbor who saw two men not from the area several
times that morning. The report was made at 9:53 a.m. Friday.
* Beach Boulevard: Disturbing the peace was reported in the 16100
block at 9:52 a.m. Friday.
* Beach Boulevard and Atlanta Avenue: Reckless driving was
witnessed, when a black Mustang was reported to be “burning rubber,”
at 1:56 p.m. Sunday.
* Brookhurst Street: Narcotics activity was reported by a
resident who viewed three girls from the beauty college smoking
something out of a pipe while hiding behind a car in the 19000 block
at 2:41 p.m. Friday.
* Carp Court: A recovered stolen vehicle was reported when a
stolen car turned out to be taken by the owner’s father in the 19000
block at 1:51 p.m. Saturday.
* Cindy Lane: A prowler was reported to have opened someone’s
back gate and walked through their yard and past the house in the
19300 block at 12:31 a.m. Sunday.
* Gothard Street: It was reported that someone has been forging
duplicate checks under a company’s name and been cashing them in the
16700 block at 8:03 a.m. Friday.
* Huntington Street: Grand theft was reported in which two palm
trees were taken from a backyard in the 300 block at 12:32 p.m.
Sunday.
* Indianapolis Avenue: A petty theft was reported in which two
males stole beer from a store in the 8400 block at 1:55 a.m. on
Friday.
* Main Street and Edinger Avenue: A report of shots fired by a
suspect in an early 90s silver Toyota pick-up came in at 9:42 a.m.
Friday.
* Middlecoff Drive: An occupied suspicious vehicle was reported,
a blue beat-up van, driven by a “disturbed looking” female, at the
5700 block at 10:55 p.m. Sunday.
* Pacific Coast Highway: A liquor violation was reported in which
a witness confiscated a fake ID that was used in an attempt to buy
alcohol at 6:50 p.m. Sunday.
* Pearce Street: Excessive noise was reported involving a subject
who moved in three days ago and has been partying on the balcony late
into night in the 4700 block at 12:10 a.m. Saturday.
* Upper Bay Drive: Three juveniles were reported as being loud in
the streets and throwing orange cones at cars in the 7400 block at
11:34 p.m. Friday.
