The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each
day at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if
desired. The selection varies. It may be either a salad, sandwich or
hot entree. School lunches are $2 each. Here’s what’s being served
this week:
TODAY
Munchable Lunch Salad with fruit yogurt or teriyaki beef dippers
and rice, crisp green salad with ranch dressing, choice of fruit
juice, choice of milk
WEDNESDAY
Vegetarian health sandwich or bean and cheese burrito, veggie
sticks with ranch dip, green apple juice bar, choice of milk
THURSDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, fresh
baked whole grain roll, sliced peaches, choice of milk
FRIDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or cheese pizza, broccoli florets with ranch
dip, choice of fruit, choice of milk
MONDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken patty sandwich on a bun, green
beans, cinnamon apple slices, choice of milk
* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry
tomatoes, crackers, protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds,
fruit yogurt and honey-roasted peanuts, and dressing.
