Bruce Kurrle

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday for the

Rev. Bruce Kurrle, a longtime pastor of the Presbyterian Church of

the Covenant in Costa Mesa. The service will be at the church at 2850

Fairview Road.

Rev. Kurrle died on Tuesday. He was 84.

Rev. Kurrle retired from the ministry in 1987 after serving as

senior pastor for 18 years. In addition to his parish ministry, he

served as state field secretary for the California Christian

Endeavor. He was a regular speaker at retreat and conference centers

and officiated many funeral services through Pacific View Memorial

Park in Corona del Mar.

Rev. Kurrle is survived by Virginia Kurrle, his wife of 37 years,

three children and five grandchildren.
