while making six steals and collecting six assists.

Orange Coast College’s Chris Lopez nails a three-point shot with

six seconds remaining to give the Pirates a 60-59 victory over

basketball game. The Pirates (15-7, 4-2 in the OEC) move into first

place with the win after hitting 10 of 19 from behind the arc. Lopez

and Anthony Cooper lead the way with 14 points apiece. Cooper drains

4 of 8 threes and Lopez converts 3 of 5 from beyond the arc. Shaun

Jackson leads the Pirates with 12 rebounds while Chris Candlish and

get the hosts within 35-34. She then grabs a mishandled inbounds pass

under the basket on the ensuing play and converts a layin for the

winning deuce with eight seconds remaining. Deming leads the Eagles

nine and Mayra Macias tallies seven.
