CITIZEN ACADEMY
The Laguna Beach Police Department is accepting applications for
the eighth Citizen Academy through Feb. 12. The academy is a 12-week
stressless course designed to provide community members with a better
understanding of the department. The topics covered will include the
history of the department, investigations, traffic enforcement,
gangs, narcotics, police K-9, a field trip to the Orange County Jail
and the police firing range. The academy will begin at 6 p.m. Feb.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Two reliable volunteers will be needed to run spotlights for the
“World Goes Round” concert. Volunteers will need to be available for

The first fundraising dinner to benefit the Senior Center project
