Annual visitors day a success
The Pegasus School in Huntington Beach celebrated Grandfriends’
Day, an annual event that invites students to bring grandparents or
friends to school for the day.
After weeks of preparation, which consisted of creating special
gifts for their visitors and practicing musical performances, the
students finally got their chance to enjoy the fruits of their labor
with friends.
The event, hosted by the school’s Parent Teacher Organization
began with a concert that combined a variety of pieces performed by
preschool, pre-kindergarten, first, second and fourth-grade students
and concluded with a performance by the Middle School Select Choir.
After the concert, guests joined the lower and middle school
students for tours and activities. To capture the day’s events, each
guest had an opportunity to have their picture taken at one of the
many photo booths on campus with their student friend.
