Los Amigos swims past Estancia

Senior Marilyn Reich scored all five goals for the Estancia High
girls water polo team, but visiting Los Amigos earned a 17-5
nonleague victory Tuesday.
Reich scored four times in the second quarter and once in the
third for the Eagles (0-4), who open Golden West League play today at
3 p.m. against Westminster.
Senior goalie Laura Morton had eight saves for Estancia.

Lightning loses, 7-6
Sage Hill School’s girls water polo went into overtime, then
sudden death and lost, 7-6, to nonleague visitor La Quinta Tuesday.
Brittany Forest led Sage Hill with three goals, while Devin Tooma,
Hayden Hutchinson and Lauren Indvik scored one goal each.
At the end of regulation the teams were tied, 5-5. After the two
overtime periods, 6-6. They then played one sudden death overtime
period and La Quinta won.
