Amigos de Bolsa Chica will hold a free 1 1/2-hour tour of the

wetlands by trained guides. Groups will leave every 15 to 20 minutes between 9 and 10:30 a.m. The public is encouraged to bring binoculars

and jackets to the bridge at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve.

Friends of Shipley Nature Center will host a restoration day to

pave the way for a healthy, natural environment. Participants are

asked to bring work gloves, garden tools and drinking water. The

group will meet at the entrance to the Shipley Nature Center at 9
