Fund-raiser set for graduation night event
- Share via
The Laguna Beach High School classes of 2003 and 2004 will hold a
holiday fund-raiser for the annual Safe and Sane Grad Night.
The event keeps exuberant seniors off the streets and out of
trouble, said Jane Schnyder, co-chair of the event.
“Grad night can be a real dangerous night,” she said. “The party
keeps them in one spot until they’re driven home the next morning.”
The holiday fund-raiser features fresh wreaths, garlands and
Christmas tree centerpieces from Washington State, as well as fudge.
Order forms and catalogs have been distributed to every student in
the district, Schnyder said, but officials want to get the word out
to the community.
The funds will help keep ticket prices down as well as allow for
scholarships for students who can’t afford to attend the event.
Order forms and brochures are available at the Laguna Beach High
School office.
