Daniel Prepas spent the spring studying at the University of

Sydney in Australia as part of the study abroad program at Middlebury

College in Vermont. He is the son of Stephen and Roberta Prepas of

Laguna Beach. Prepas, a member of the Middlebury class of 2003, will

gain academic credit for completed coursework in the program. To be

eligible for the study abroad program, students must maintain an

overall grade average of B-or better as well as an average of a B or

better in the major, proficiency at the advanced level in the

language of the country and a strong academic rationale for studying

abroad. ... Eric McGregor of Laguna Beach graduated with a degree in

Optometry from the University of Houston. He received his degree

during commencement ceremonies at Hofheinz Pavilion in December.
