The Huntington Beach Playhouse will present “Fiddler on the Roof.”

Directed by Marla Gam Hudson, the classic musical is the story of a

poor dairyman who tries to instill in his five daughters the

traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community. The playhouse will

FRIDAY

The Orange County Children’s Theater will present “Grease.” The

rock ‘n’ roll musical will show at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday

and at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The show will run through

Pier Plaza Presents will hold free outdoor concerts presented by

Chevrolet and the city of Huntington Beach. Walter Clevenger, Orange

The Offshore Grand Prix Professional Powerboat Race will take

Old World German Village will present the Plum Festival. Attendees

Merchants from Peter’s

Landing will host fund-raising events to benefit the Orange County

CoastKeeper, with free entertainment from 6 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday

entire family, although donations will be greatly appreciated.

The Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Golf

Tournament. The day’s events will include 18 holes of golf, lunch,

dinner, the wild and wacky “derby,” participant prize packages and
