WEATHER FORECAST
We’ll see fog and low clouds early, but the sun should part them early
this afternoon, with highs in the mid-70s in Costa Mesa and the upper 60s
in Newport Beach. Lows will bottom out in the low 60s.
The same will arrive on Saturday, though highs should start inching
upward. By Sunday, the highs should reach the 80s in Costa Mesa and the
70s in Newport Beach. Have a great weekend.

BOATING FORECAST
The southwesterly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters
today, with 2-foot waves and a southwest swell of 4 feet.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will start out light at 10 to 15
knots, but will increase this afternoon as a small-craft advisory goes
into effect. It is then that one can expect 15- to 25-knot winds
accompanied by combined seas of 7 to 10 feet. The same will be found this
evening, though the winds should ease later into the night. Fog will roll
in late.
SURF
Though the latest southwest swell arrives today, it will probably only
produce knee- to waist-highs today. It should pick up more Saturday
afternoon when waist- to chest-highs are found. On Sunday, it’ll peak and
we’ll see mostly chest- to shoulder-highs at best.
