* Butternut Circle: A burglary was reported in the 16000 block at 2:46

a.m. Monday.

* Elk River Court: Residents reported a lewd conduct incident in the

10000 block at 5:40 p.m. Dec. 7.

* Ellis Avenue: Police were called to respond to juveniles fighting in

the 10000 block at 2:57 p.m. Dec. 7.

* Harbor Boulevard: A suspected shoplifter was apprehended in the

16000 block at 10:07 p.m. Dec. 5.

* Hyde Court: A disturbance of the peace was reported in the 15000

block at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday.

* Lark Circle: A family dispute was reported in the 9000 block at 4:11

a.m. Friday.

* Lilac Way: Vandalism was reported in the 11000 block.

* Mount Darwin Circle: Loud music was reported in the 16000 block at

12:39 a.m. Saturday.

* Newhope Street: A reported battery was responded to by police in the

16000 block at 5:27 p.m. Dec. 6.

* Newhope Street: A forgery was reported in the 17000 block at 3:16

p.m. Saturday.

* Sandstone Avenue: Police responded to a report of a fight in the

11000 block at 4:01 p.m. Dec. 6.

* Slater Avenue: An act of vandalism was reported in the 10000 block

at 12:43 a.m. Dec. 7.

* Stonecress Avenue: Police responded to a juvenile disturbance in the

11000 block at 4:06 p.m. Dec. 6.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Adams Avenue: A man was reported for indecent exposure after

standing in front of a doorway and showing himself to passersby in the

9000 block at 2:41 p.m. Saturday.

* Atlantic Avenue and Schooner Lane: Police received a complaint of

reckless driving when a motorist driving a light-colored Mazda pickup ran

across the street median, trampling bushes and continued to drive on the

wrong side of the road, opposite the flow of traffic near the

intersection at 10:21 p.m. Dec. 7.

* Briarcliff Drive: An unknown number of electrical reindeer were

reported stolen from the frontyard of a home in the 6000 block at 7:16

p.m. Saturday.

* Brookhurst Street: A resident reported a bench stolen from the

backyard of a home in the 20000 block at 5:53 p.m. Dec. 5.

* Edinger Avenue: A vandal used a BB gun to shoot holes through the

window of a home in the 6000 block at 4 p.m. Dec. 7.

* Goldenwest Street: Police responded to a nuisance report involving

an unknown woman yelling in a restaurant in the 16000 block at 8:10 p.m.

Dec. 6.

* Goldenwest Street: A man, described as 35 years old, 5 feet 5 inches

tall and weighing 150 pounds, with blond, medium-length hair, was

reported to police for trying to cash stolen checks worth about $200 at a

bank in the 16000 at 12:18 p.m. Friday.

* Huntington Street: A resident reported someone had smashed the

driver’s side window of a car parked in the 100 block at 2:42 p.m. Dec.

* Lynn Street: Police and fire officials responded to a house ablaze

in the 16000 block at 4:28 a.m. Sunday.

* Marilyn Drive: Police responded to a report of shots fired in the

6000 block at 11:25 p.m. Saturday.

* 9th Street: A resident told police that five juveniles were yelling

and riding skateboards across the front lawns of homeowners living in the

500 block at 3:41 p.m. Dec 4.

* Queens Lane: Someone told police that a man broke into two laundry

rooms and smashed the coin machines of a building in the 17000 block at

8:41 a.m. Dec. 4.

* Ravenwood Lane: Someone reported that a group of juveniles were

drinking alcohol on a river trail in the 20000 block at 10:33 p.m. Dec.

* Rook Drive: Police received a report of trespassing, when a resident

complained an irrational neighbor under the influence of alcohol refused

to leave the frontyard of a home in the 6000 block at 7:59 p.m. Sunday.

* 7th Street: A resident told police that someone had ransacked and

burglarized a home in the 500 block at 2:36 p.m. Sunday.

* Springdale Street: A girl reported her purse stolen from an

unattended table during a high school formal dance in the 15000 block at

7:40 p.m. Saturday.

* Trophy Drive: A 93-year-old man was found dead of natural causes at

a home in the 5000 block at 8:44 a.m. Dec. 7.

* Torlug Drive: Someone reported that all four tires were stolen from

a vehicle parked in the 5000 block at 6:30 a.m. Dec. 6.
