Huntington Beach remains unbeaten following 56-40 win

The Huntington Beach boys 8th-grade All-Net basketball team
remained unbeaten on the season by winning two games last weekend.
The first victim was Trabuco Hills, which fell, 56-40, as Chris
Potrykus scored 10 points, Matt Molino scored nine, and Kevin Brake hit a
pair of three point shots to finish with eight points.
In a 34-26 win over Aliso Niguel, Courtney Coleman poured in 15 points
and Patrick Killeen added nine more to lead the way.

Samer Haddad led all scorers with 11 points and Mike Doran and Nathan
Morris each chipped in six points as Fountain Valley (1-1) picked up its first win of the season Sunday. A defensive charge, led by Dylan
Macdonald, Brandon Duquette, Mike Doran, Nathan Morris, Robbie Zant, Sean
Thierault, and Zach Swaim, limited Mission Viejo to just nine points
through three periods of play.
