Girls tennis: Mesa’s Nguyen-Pham sweep, OV wins

COSTA MESA - The Costa Mesa High doubles team of Hang Nguyen and

Minh-Thy Pham earned its first sweep of the season, but visiting Ocean

view prevailed, 14-4, in a nonleague girls tennis match Monday.

Nguyen, a sophomore, and Pham, a junior, won 18 of 24 games, but the

Mustangs fell to 2-5.

Ocean View improved to 7-0.
