NEWPORT BEACH
* Collins: Vandals were reportedly throwing rocks and broke a window
of a home in the 300 block at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
* Onyx Drive: A residential burglary was reported in the 200 block at
12:30 a.m. Sunday.
* Seashore Drive and Fern Street: Vandals were reported to have cut
down a tree on the public street with a handsaw at 2:15 a.m. Saturday.
* Westerly Avenue: $1,000 was reported stolen from an office desk,
which was pried open, in the 4100 block at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
COSTA MESA
* Fair Drive: A rape was reported in the first block at 5:43 a.m.
Sunday.
* Logan Avenue: Arson was reported in the 1200 block at 1:02 a.m.
Saturday.
* Newport Boulevard: An auto theft was reported in the 2100 block at
8:36 a.m. Sunday.
* Placentia Avenue: A hit and run was reported in the 2200 block at
2:44 a.m. Sunday.
