R.D. Olson Construction, specialists in building hotels, retail
outlets and business complexes, has completed the first phase of
Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas, part of Marriott Vacation Club
International.
The work, including four buildings, three pools, two spas,
landscaping, streets and a parking structure, marks the start of a
five-year building plan for the 77-acre, Mediterranean village-style
resort.
Irvine-based R.D. Olson provided complete general contracting services
for the first of several phases.
“We’ve built many Marriott projects, but this one is especially
upscale and sits upon one of Orange County’s most exquisite pieces of
land,” said Dennis Reyling, the company’s president.
