NBLL AAA: Red Sox start strong to beat Orioles

NEWPORT BEACH - The Red Sox used a six-run first inning to overcome
an early deficit in last week’s 7-6 win over the Orioles in Newport Beach
Little League AAA Division action.
Brett Bartlett had two hits, two runs scored and one RBI to lead the Red
Sox.
Alex Ray, Blake Raymond, Max Rollins and Drew Brahs each added key hits
for the Red Sox.
Camden Nicholson pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings to keep the Orioles off
track.
In other AAA action:
Red Sox 5, Cardinals 4 - Camden Nicholson and Curtis Converse each had a
hit and an RBI to lead the Red Sox past the Cardinals.
After jumping out to a 4-0 lead, the Cardinals tied the score before
Brett Bartlett scored in the sixth inning to win the game.
Alex Ray walked twice and scored two runs to ignite the Red Sox offense.
