The Orange County Museum of Art announced its newly elected officers of

the Board of Trustees for the 2000-01 term. They are: Darrel Anderson,

Orange Coast College will present an honorary associate’s degree to

former John Wayne Airport operations manager Christine Edwards of Newport

Beach on May 25 for her dedication as a campus volunteer. ... Kimiko

Martinez and David Song, co-editors of Orange Coast College’s student

newspaper, Coast Report, received first- and third-place awards at the

45th annual Orange County Press Club Excellence in Journalism awards

presentations. Martinez took first place and a $750 scholarship in the

on-the-spot writing competition. Song took third, and received a $250

scholarship.
