Huntington Beach lifeguards show their saving skills at Ocean Safety Day

The Huntington Beach Fire Department’s Marine Safety Division presented its annual open house and Ocean Safety Day on Sunday at Pier Plaza.
Lifeguards showcased rescue techniques and equipment and talked with community members about their jobs patrolling the beach.
The event also featured a raffle with prizes including a private tour of lifeguard Tower Zero on the Huntington Beach Pier.
