The movie theater at Triangle Square in Costa Mesa has changed ownership.
The multiplex, called Edwards Triangle Square 8, located where Harbor and Newport boulevards meet 19th Street is now owned by Starlight Cinema, said Maria Orozco, the theater’s manager.
Regal Entertainment Group, which operates throughout Orange County, owned the cinemas until last week, Orozco said.
Everything remains the same at the movie theater, except for the prices – they are cheaper.
A regular movie ticket now goes for $9, down from the $11.25 as was previously charged, Orozco said. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, tickets are $4, she said.
